Another Year, Beginning the World

School started today and I don't know what it was...maybe something about the new uniform and the fact that I have rather distinct memories of life in the ASH jumper, or maybe what seemed to be some small but profound developments over the summer that appeared to suddenly transform a baby into a big kid, or perhaps it was just that haunting sensation annoying me once again with the reminder that it is all happening just as fast as everyone warned me it would...whatever it was, I sort of felt the emotion more than I have in prior years. This morning I felt happy and proud and so incredibly blessed.

I. Can't. Take. This. I don't know how you're handling this as her mother. I can barely handle it as her mere babysitter. Why is she in a jumper!? Last time I checked, she was in a swaddle blanket.

My dear friend, it is clear that you are probably one of the finest photographers around and I cherish every frame of nolababy. That having been said, I was absolutely stopped in my tracks by that last shot. Warmed my heart! I miss and love you all!
