Two Loves Combine To Make One Perfect Dress

Kelsea and Katharine, La Luz's former and current babysitters, stopped by last week to visit and give the bug her Christmas present. Kelsea has always had a knack for picking out precisely the perfect gift for La Luz - remember the nightgown with orange and hot pink initials? It is still in very heavy rotation and is covered in unsightly stains. It will never be retired.

This time, the gift was a beautiful smocked dress with Peter Pan, Wendy and Tinkerbell around the neck. I didn't know such a thing existed and, apparently, La Luz didn't either because when she opened the box and saw the dress it blew her mind. A dress, her favorite article of clothing, and Peter Pan, her current favorite movie, collide to form the perfect present. Needless to say, it has to be pried off and even then only because it needs washing or because she is supposed to wear a uniform to school.
