The rest of the weekend was spent trying to figure out how to deal with my allergies, La Luz's tummy trouble and watching sports, lots of sports.
We managed a few activities that were not related to football and baseball. Here we are baking Halloween cookies.

And visiting with Maddie Moore and baby Betsy.

The Moore family was in town after spending last night in Tiger Stadium watching an incredible LSU victory. They came over, along with Jen, Peter and Betsy, to have lunch and hang out for a few hours. La Luz was incredibly territorial about her stuff, as usual. Once everyone left, however, she lamented the fact that none of her friends were around to play, also as usual.
In addition to the LSU game last night, we watched most of the Saints game and all of the Red Sox game. It is unbelievable that all three teams won in the same weekend. I don't know what we did or didn't do to make it happen. Maybe it has something to do with me actually watching that much sports. I hope not though because I think my head will explode if I have to watch another baseball game.
