La Luz's Third Birthday
Christian is in Nicaragua so La Luz and I had an extremely mellow weekend. Notwithstanding an incredible dinner at Irene's to celebrate Hal's brief visit to NOLA, most of the weekend was spent playing in La Luz's new Rose Petal Cottage and testing out her new tricycle. We managed a trip to the grocery, an hour or so at Audubon Park, a brief bicycle ride, and some time spent putzing around in the garden. Beyond that, some arts and crafts and lots of story reading occupied most of our time. It was hot outside so I didn't complain about spending most of the weekend inside.
