It's All HERS

I have my very own Veruca Sault. Most of you know that La Luz is in a 'mine' stage but it has transformed over the past few weeks into an out and out "MINE" stage and is totally out of control. We have been reassured by everyone that it is nothing more than a stage but it is so bad lately that we are both at the end of our ropes and are almost ready to start taking suggestions about what we should or shouldn't be doing and/or start reading books about early childhood development. Tonight while I was busy at a client dinner Christian and our neighbors pooled resources for a community dinner, assuming it would be nice for their 2 year old to play with La Luz. Apparently, La Luz had other ideas and instead spent the duration of the eveningstaking claim on whatever our neighbor's child picked up. Lovely. All I know is that something better change quick because these past few weeks have already reformed Christian as he no longer abides by his long-held belief that people are not inherently greedy. Leave it to his own offspring to teach him otherwise.

From what I understand La Luz had another fun-filled day. AJ picked her up from daycare and watched her all afternoon. La Luz spent the day playing with all of her toys at AJs and then visiting with GG and Papa George this afternoon. She is very proud of HER adorable cups that AJ made. Okay, she is a little spoiled by her family, but that cannot make her possesive in this manner, can it? Well, I don't know about you but I guess I might not be inclined to share these cups either:
